GQ x Simon Malls #Lookbooklive Event Recap.

April 21, 2015

On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending a SIMON Lookbook live event hosted with GQ & Glamour at The Shops at Mission Viejo. Unlike most fashion events, this was a very hands on experience for everyone.  There were fashion stylists, hair stylists and makeup artists stationed around the lounge area at different spring themed closets sharing their vast knowledge with everyone in attendance.  It was like a crash course in spring style.  Every hour on the hour there was a different themed fashion show with a few different looks to show how to style the different themes. Themes included BOHO, stay-cation, date night and spring wedding.  I do have to say the spring date night theme was my favorite with light jackets and casual tees for the guys and longer lighter dresses for the ladies.

If you have a chance to attend a #lookbooklive event in your area I highly recommend it!

It was so much fun to meet and help style everyone who came out to the event! Check out the gallery Below for a photo recap of the event!

Date night look #1. Loving the lighter monochrome look for spring.

Date night look #2 – Dressing up jeans and a tee with a nice blazer is always a go to for spring.

I loved this jacket from Forever 21. The darker red will really give a nice pop of color.

I could style this jacket from Tommy Bahama about 100 different ways. A light jacket is a must.

My favorite accessory from the event has to be this leather backpack from fossil.
